It is in this place of the miraculous mundane that every person understands, accepts, and delights in the truth that he or she plays a part in the supernatural story of God’s continuous intervention. It is in this place of the miraculous mundane where your obedience to the simple instructions of Jesus is the thing that brings about the most effective and joyful results. It is in this place of the miraculous mundane that you are confronted with the motivation of why you live your life the way that you do. It is in this place of the miraculous mundane that you learn to stop merely living for Christ and learn to live by and with him. As Ralph Waldo Emerson is quoted as saying, “...the invariable mark of wisdom is to see the miraculous in the common.”
If you want to see Jesus do the miraculous, be faithful in the mundane.
